Video: There is no need for discrimination in our schools – Betty Mould-Iddrisu

Former Minister of Education, Betty Mould-Iddrisu has condemned the discrimination meted out to two first year students of Achimota Senior High School by school authorities.

She said there is no room for any form of discrimination in our world and everyone deserves an equal opportunity everywhere.

Mrs Iddrisu who was reacting to the reports of authorities at the Achimota school refusing to admit two students with dreadlocks described the incident as unfortunate but however lauded the swiftness of the Ghana Education Service to resolve the impasse.

Speaking on Anopa Bosuo on Salt 95.9 FM with Air Commodore, Mrs. Iddrisu said the most important thing is that the Ghana Education Service has done the right thing and given the directive to allow the children go to school.
