The death of the 10-year-old who was murdered in cold blood by two two teenagers at Ofaakor in Accra has sparked the state security to act in order to avert future occurrence.
It is believed that the two teenagers were incited to do such act due to what they saw being broadcast on television.
This has sparked a lot of public outcry with calls for the appropriate quarters to clamp down stations which advertise the act of money doubling, spiritualism and money rituals.
The state security has then clamped down two stations belonging to Patricia Asiedu, porpulary known as Nana Agradaa. These stations are Thunder tv and Ice 1 Tv.
Nana Agradaa is a self acclaimed fetish priest based in Accra who has been a reference of fraudulent activities numerously all in the name of spiritualism.
The state security has arrested the wrongdoers, including Nana Agradaa and seized two equipments used in the illegal transmission from each station.
According to reports, Agradaa has swindled a lot of people under the guise of doubling their money through her ‘Sika Gari’ rituals.
Agradaa has since admitted to this illegality and is currently in police custody undergoing investigations.
In the report, the National Communications Authority (NCA) stated that it revoked Nana Agradaa’s Thunder Tv’s authorisation whiles Ice 1 Tv on the other hand reported continued its operation even after a written directive have been sent to them on June 17, 2020 to stop operations after their authorisation expired on February 2020.
It was alleged that Nana Agradaa had some law enforcement agencies such as the police on her payroll, hence her unabated impunity on open advertorials in money doubling rituals.
