Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah,the MP for the Ejisu Constituency on 6th March, 2021 supported his Constituents with 200 sewing machines and 50 hairdryers. Together with party faithfuls and reps from the various communities, he urged the beneficiaries to put these items to good use so that they can earn a living with it.
Speaking with some of the beneficiaries, they sounded very surprised but happy as they made it known that they least expected this from their honourable MP as they’ve not witnessed such kind gesture from their political leader for over a decade. They again reiterated that they’re thankful to Dr. John Ampontuah Kumah for all that he’s been doing for the constituency both before he became their MP and now that he’s their MP.
The Member of Parliament in a speech said that he wants to see his constituents prosper and become resourceful entrepreneurs so that they can reduce the rate of unemployment and the dependence on others for their survival.
The second part of the day’s event was also filled with heartfelt gratitude from the second batch of beneficiaries. This was when he gave 200 people GH¢500.00 each to either support or start their business. This gesture went to the first batch and the other batches will follow soon. He adviced the first batch beneficiaries of the funds to work hard with it so that they can increase their capital and scale up what they do. To those who were yet to receive their,he adviced that they should hold their peace and wait for their turn since he’s purposed in his heart to make great entrepreneurs in the constituency.
Just after these donations, the Honourable MP moved to the vaccination center at Kwamo where he took his jab of the the covid-19 vaccine. He adviced all and sundry who fall under the group one of the vaccination to do so in order to reduce the spread of the deadly corona virus.
